TOM GLOSUP - Guitar / Vocals

Known for his original vocal style, Tom grew up influenced by music starting from a very early age.  The year he was born his father had his own radio show on WNAX covering large portions of South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and North Dakota.  His great uncle is one of the original singing cowboy movie stars Eddie Dean (Glosup) who wrote One Has My Name The Other Has My Heart and Hillbilly Heaven.  As a child he traveled with his grandfather to many week long church revivals where his grandfather led the singing portion of the service. You could say his roots are very deep in Country and Gospel music.  Tom started performing on stage as a member of Tommy Alverson’s Boothill Band.  Working and learning from Tommy for several years. Tom started The Crossfire Band in the mid eighties and played various venues around the Dallas, Ft.Worth and Oklahoma areas.

Playing with band members T.J. Martin and Steve Thompson and doing the traditional country music songs our legendary singing heroes made so popular was not only a joy but an honor.   To have these original members back working together along with the  new members feels like a chance of a lifetime.
